About OPEN HEART UKRAINE

OPEN HEART CHURCH

Zolotonosha, Ukraine

Open Heart Church was planted in 2021 in the city of Zolotonosha, Central Ukraine. What began with a small team of eleven people has grown into a thriving church family serving youth, families, children, and people searching for hope.

Despite the challenges of a global pandemic and the ongoing war in Ukraine, our community has continued to grow. Through worship, outreach, discipleship, and practical support, we have seen lives transformed and people encounter the love of Jesus.

Today, Open Heart Church impacts hundreds of people in our city and surrounding area. Keep us in your prayers as God continued to grow His Kingdom here in Ukraine.

Yura Fedoryuk

Pastor at Open Heart Church

Zolotonosha, Ukraine

For Yura and his family, ministry has always been about people. Long before Open Heart Church existed, they spent years building relationships, serving their community, mentoring young people, and helping others take their next step toward God.

When God called them to start a new church in 2021, they responded with a simple "yes." They had no large organization behind them and no guarantees of success—only a conviction that God wanted to do something new in their city. That same faith continues to guide them today as they serve their church, raise their children, and invest in the lives of people throughout Ukraine.

CHERKASY

The team of volunteers from the Spring of Hope Church has made multiple trips to the Eastern Ukraine to help people there.

Since the beginning of the war they brought food, medicine, vegetable seeds and other necessary supplies to people who stayed there. They evacuated those people who wanted to leave those dangerous territories.

In 2023, the team together with Pastor Anatoliy Lyholai started bringing building materials to fix damaged roofs, walls and windows. They brought more than 150 tons of such materials and distributed them among people who needed them.

Then, they started rebuilding the ruined houses. After the houses had been rebuilt, people started coming back to their homes. Only in village Tavriyske 300 people (105 families) came back to the village thanks to Pastor Anatoliy’s team and other volunteers. Otherwise, the village would become a ghost village.  In 2024, they purchased the equipment and started digging wells in villages that remained without water during the war.
